Bib Gourmand Paris: 15 Great Meals at Fair Prices
The Bib Gourmand is the Michelin Guide's good-value label: cooking the inspectors love, at a price that doesn't need a special occasion. The catch is that the guide lists these places next to hundreds of starred tables, with little on the vibe, the menu or whether you can simply walk in.
So we pulled every Bib Gourmand in Paris onto one page, with lunch prices, signature dishes and reviews for each of the 15 addresses. Want to stretch the budget further? See our affordable restaurants, or compare with the Fooding cheap eats.

Getting the most out of the Bib Gourmand in Paris
A Bib doesn't mean cheap; it means you get more than you pay for. In Paris that usually looks like a chef-run bistro with a short menu, a set lunch and a room full of locals. Here's what's on the list.
Neo-bistros with a set lunch
Lunch is where the Bib shines. Caillebotte, in the 9th, serves braised pork ribs and onion tartlets behind big glass windows, with lunch from €19. Le Pantruche, from the same chef, plays the 1940s bistro card and ends on a Grand Marnier soufflé. Jouvence has moved into an early-1900s pharmacy on the Faubourg Saint-Antoine, with lunch from €19 and a five-course menu at €65. Near Pigalle, Les Canailles cooks offal with pride: try the beef tongue carpaccio.
Asian counters worth the wait
Abri Soba serves buckwheat noodles 16 ways, hot or cold, in a cozy room in the 9th. Mandoobar makes Korean dumplings and tartares live at the counter in the 8th, to a K-pop soundtrack. Double Dragon, in the 11th, mixes Korean fried chicken, Filipino flavors and natural wine, with a €16.50 lunch menu. Brigade du Tigre, in the 10th, travels from China to Japan in a vintage duplex. More in our Asian food and ramen & noodles pages.
No reservations, no problem
Clamato, the seafood counter from the Septime team, doesn't take bookings: show up at opening for crab fritters and oysters. Double Dragon skips reservations for most services too. For more places you can drop into without planning, browse our quick bites.
