228 Michelin Restaurants in Paris, from Bib to 3 Stars
The Michelin Guide is more than stars. Its Paris selection runs from three-star palace dining rooms to soba counters with a Bib Gourmand, and a star tells you how precise the cooking is, not how stiff the room feels or what the bill will look like. The guide's own app won't tell you either.
So we put every Michelin restaurant in Paris on one page, then added what the guide leaves out: prices, must-try dishes, what Le Fooding and Time Out think, and reviews that include the not-so-good. Aiming for the top? Jump to the 3-star restaurants, or eat well for less with the Bib Gourmand picks.

How to read the Michelin Guide in Paris
The guide has three levels, and they don't promise the same evening. Stars (one, two or three) reward the cooking itself. The Bib Gourmand flags good food at a moderate price. Everything else is simply selected: a kitchen the inspectors think is worth your time, without a distinction. Filter by award above to stay on one level, or mix them and sort by neighborhood.
Stars, from palace to bistro
Three stars usually means a palace dining room and a long evening: Le Cinq at the Four Seasons George V, Epicure at Le Bristol, or Arpège, where Alain Passard has served only plant-based cooking since July 2025. Two stars can feel far more personal: David Toutain builds whole courses around vegetables near Les Invalides, and Le Clarence serves its land-and-sea menus across the salons of a 19th-century mansion. For a first star in a relaxed room, Septime runs a no-choice menu on rue de Charonne. Compare the 2-star and 1-star lists before you commit.
Recommended, and often more fun
Some of the best meals in the guide carry no star at all. At Le Servan, sisters Katia and Tatiana Levha serve boudin noir wontons in an Art Deco bistro. At Eels, in the 10th, Adrien Ferrand's smoked eel is the dish to order, and lunch tasting menus start at €32. Abri Soba, one of the Bib Gourmands, serves buckwheat noodles 16 ways in the 9th. Many of these also appear in our Le Fooding picks, usually a sign of a looser, livelier room.
Where the guide's picks cluster
The 8th, around the Champs-Élysées, has the most Michelin restaurants in Paris, followed by the 7th and the 2nd. Staying near the Eiffel Tower? Go straight to Michelin in the 7th. Here for palace dining? See Michelin in the 8th. The 11th is where the guide's more relaxed bistros live.
Before you book
Most of these tables sit in the top price range, so check menu prices on each place page first; lunch is often the cheapest way in. Starred places book out weeks ahead: Septime opens its tables at 10am, three weeks in advance, and they go within minutes. Clamato, its seafood sibling, takes no reservations at all, so arrive at opening. Want the city in the window with your dinner? See our Michelin restaurants with a view.
