Family-Friendly Restaurants in Paris: 73 Tables for All Ages
Eating out in Paris with kids comes with its own traps. Near the sights, the children's menu is frozen nuggets and fries; in the good bistros, dinner starts at 8pm in a room where a stroller gets side-eye. You end up at the chain restaurant, and nobody's happy.
These 73 family-friendly restaurants in Paris were tagged from reviews and cross-checked across the guides locals trust, so the grown-ups eat properly too. For easy crowd-pleasers, see our pizza and galettes. Weekend plans? Check our restaurants open on Sunday.

How to pick a family-friendly restaurant in Paris
With kids, the three things that matter are the hours, the noise level and a menu everyone can agree on. The places below tick at least two, and each place page tells you the rest: prices, must-try dishes and tips from people who went before you.
Big rooms, long hours
Bouillon République is a 450-seat Belle Époque bouillon near République, open every day from noon to midnight with no break. That continuous service is gold with children on their own schedule, and the prices are gentle: oysters, œufs mayonnaise, saucisse-purée and brioche perdue for dessert. In Les Halles, Au Pied de Cochon has served onion soup and seafood platters around the clock since 1946, so a hungry kid at 4pm is never a problem. More easy-going tables in our affordable restaurants.
A chef's table where kids are welcome
At Pierre Sang in Oberkampf, children under 8 eat free, which is rare for a Michelin-recommended Franco-Korean kitchen. The blind tasting menu may not suit very picky eaters, but the bibimbap is an easy sell. For a family celebration, Shang Palace, the Cantonese restaurant of the Shangri-La hotel, has private rooms, dim sum and a Peking duck served in two courses.
Crowd-pleasers for the whole table
The Big Mamma trattorias in the results, like Pizzeria Popolare, East Mamma and Pink Mamma, are loud and cheerful enough that nobody will notice a toddler, and pizza and fresh pasta keep everyone happy. Chartier Montparnasse, Bouillon Julien and Breizh Café are in the results too. See more in our Italian restaurants and lively restaurants.
Where to look, and a heads-up
The 11th arrondissement has the most results, followed by the 9th, then the 18th, the 10th and the 17th. The biggest share is mid-priced. A few high-end counters in the results set age limits (Table welcomes children from 12), so check each place page before you book. Lunch is usually the easiest meal with little ones: less crowded, cheaper, and nobody's past bedtime. Start the day with our breakfast picks, then use the map to find a table near the park.
