How to plan a late night out in Paris
Closing times vary a lot from one bar to the next, and from Tuesday to Saturday. Check the hours on each place page, then build your night so the latest spot comes last.
The latest pours
Experimental Cocktail Club, on rue Saint-Sauveur, stays open until 4am on Friday and Saturday and takes no reservations; weeknights are calmer. Moonshiner, behind the fridge door of a pizzeria on rue Sedaine, pours from 6pm to 2am every day, with more than 100 whiskies and a barrel-aged Vieux Carré. Le Syndicat, near Château d'Eau, runs until 2am Monday to Saturday, on French spirits only. More cocktail picks in our trendy bars.
Pub hours, cocktail quality
The Cambridge Public House, in the Marais, is open daily from 3pm to 1:30am, with meat pies and sausage rolls to line your stomach between seasonal cocktails. For something grander, Bar Hemingway at the Ritz serves until midnight; dress the part. Browse all our bars for more.
Big venues for a long night
Ground Control, the food hall in a former railway warehouse near Gare de Lyon, stays open until 1am on Friday and Saturday, with street food to keep you going. Le Caveau de la Huchette, Harry's New York Bar, La Bellevilloise and Le Comptoir Général are on this list too. Want a stage with your drink? See our bars with live music or our dinner shows.
Where to go, and getting home
The Marais and the 11th lead this list, followed by the 10th. Start in Le Marais, then drift east to the 11th arrondissement: many of these bars are a short walk apart. Prices are mostly cheap to moderate. Friday and Saturday are the latest nights, and the metro stops in the small hours, so plan your ride home before the last round. Switch to the map to see which bars are still open near you.
