Late-Night Food in Paris: 66 Kitchens Open After Dark
The show ends at 10:30, the flight lands late, the evening runs long, and suddenly every kitchen in the neighborhood has stopped taking orders. In Paris, the kitchen often closes well before the bar does, and you end up with a greasy kebab or a sad club sandwich from room service.
These 66 late-night restaurants in Paris keep cooking after most kitchens call it a night, each one picked from trusted guides, with opening hours checked. After dinner, carry on at our late-night bars; for the other closed-door problem, see our restaurants open on Monday.

Where to find late-night food in Paris
Late means different things here: a kitchen that serves until midnight, a counter that pours until 2am with proper food alongside, or a brasserie that never closes at all. Filter by neighborhood above, and always check the place page for the last order time, which is often earlier than closing time.
Never closed, or almost
Au Pied de Cochon, in Les Halles, has been open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, since 1946: onion soup gratinée, seafood platters and the stuffed pig's trotter it's named after, at 3am if you like. Bouillon République serves non-stop from noon to midnight every day, with €1 oysters and demi jarret frites in a 450-seat hall. More grand old dining rooms in our traditional restaurants, and more bowls of the good stuff on our onion soup page.
Small plates until the small hours
Le Mary Celeste, in the Haut-Marais, is open daily from 6pm to 2am, with kimchi wontons and chili-shiso mussels next to the cocktails. In the 19th, Soces keeps its full seafood menu going until 2am from Wednesday to Sunday: Saint-Vaast oysters, barbecued cuttlefish, natural wine. See our small plates and oysters pages for more.
Late, but not too late
Some places simply stretch the evening. L'Avant Comptoir de la Terre, under the arcades of Marché Saint-Germain, serves its pork tapas without a break from noon to 11pm. Le Petit Vendôme, near Place Vendôme, keeps its ham sandwiches, escargots and foie gras going until 1am from Tuesday to Saturday. La Coupole in Montparnasse, an Art Deco brasserie since 1927, runs from breakfast to late evening.
Where to look, and what it costs
The 2nd, the 18th, the 1st and the 6th have the most late options on this list, so start with our 2nd arrondissement or 18th arrondissement guides. Most places are mid-priced. Weekends stay busy after midnight, so book where you can, and keep our cheap eats in mind for a quick bite on the way home.
